There are several updates coming to Trane.com Dealer Locator, Google Reviews, MAX Profile, and Dispatch training. There will be several training webinars explaining these adjustments, starting Thursday, March 14 and running once a week through April 16.
2019 Dealer Locator Logic
- Proximity to the homeowner still remains the same with the radius the dealer selects, but the order in which dealers appear in that radius will be changing.
- The order will be based on a grade driven by several factors: the dealers’ engagement to the customer (answering phone calls and form leads); online presence (Google Reviews rating and frequency of reviews); and lead disposition (providing a lead status in Dispatch).
- Finally, dealers MUST update their MAX profile information. If they do not fill out the required profile details (listed in the “MAX Profile Updates” item below), they will not receive leads.
Google Review Changes on Dealer Locator
Google has changed how they allow businesses like Trane.com to pull dealer Google reviews into the dealer locator. Starting April 8, if a dealer wants their reviews to display on the locator, they must provide the DAC group with manager access to their GMB (Google My Business) account. MAX Profile Updates
We’ve made some updates and changes to the layout of MAX dealer profiles, including new additional fields we are requesting they answer. The fields below are now required if the dealer would like to receive leads from the dealer locator:
- Lead Contact Emails
- Lead Type
- Answering Service
- Segment Participation
