To support our rollout of Trane Home and the transition away from the Nexia® brand, we are releasing a thermostat update to our customers.
As shown below, the Nexia icon in the “Menu” screen of all smart thermostats will be updated to the new “Smart Home” icon shown to the right.
This is the first step in rebranding our smart thermostat firmware.
To address thermostats that are already in inventory, we have mailed cards; these can be inserted into boxes and handed out to homeowners to let them know that they need to download the Trane Home mobile app instead of Nexia. These are also available to order through the Marketing Resource Center (while supplies last).
