Trane Earns ‘America’s Most Trusted® HVAC Brand’ for Seventh Year

For the seventh year, Trane has been named as America’s Most Trusted® HVAC Brand. The ranking by Lifestory Research is based on 2020 survey results of 6,453 people actively shopping for a new HVAC. Lifestory’s evaluation process is rigorous and thorough, with consumers detailing why they trust specific brands. Trust is calculated via the Lifestory Research Net Trust Quotient, in which a score of 100 is average for all brands included in the study. To be considered as a top candidate for recognition, a brand will need to receive enough survey responses to achieve a 95% confidence level. Once confidence levels are determined, survey results are compared with peer organizations of like size and complexity.

Since Trane has received this honor for seven years in a row, there are two claims available: one for 2021 and several options for 2015–2021. Each has its own logo, and full details are included in the Usage Guidelines. All pieces are available on MAX in the Info Center under Brand Marketing.
