The unstoppable Trane HVAC system and Comfortlink thermostat have shared the spotlight lately with Mina Starsiak of the mother-daughter duo from HGTV’s hit show Good Bones. Trane is driving consumer interest through this partnership—and you can help build on the momentum using social media, too.
Getting in front of 11.9 million consumers
This week, Mina appears in a story by the top-tier, home decor publication, Apartment Therapy, which has 11,876,688 unique visitors per month (UVM).
The article, titled “7 Things Everyone Should Know About Their Home,” is a helpful guide that highlights some of the important things homeowners must do after immediately moving into a new home. In addition to placing a fire extinguisher under the sink and installing carbon monoxide detectors, Mina also recommends installing a programmable thermostat by Trane. “This ensures energy savings from the beginning,” she says. “I had a smart thermostat installed, the Trane Comfortlink, so I was immediately able to schedule my system and set temperature control, so that was once less thing to worry about.”
Going social with the dream house
The first social media post through our partnership with the Good Bones celebs appeared on Tuesday, October 2, on their Two Chicks and a Hammer Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts. Mina shared an image of the two Trane units outside of her dream home with the following text:
Putting the finishing touches on my new dream home! Excited to have partnered with @Trane Residential to get these two bad boys installed. We’re definitely taking indoor comfort to the next level with these advanced HVACs…. gotta have the perfect snuggle temp for my new little man. I can’t wait for you all to see the big reveal! #ad #Unstoppable
